Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue - Maryland Dog rescue in Elkton, MD

We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed and permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and cost of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.

Animals in our care receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes.

We strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and Humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for the homeless dogs.

Rescue FAQs

Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Dog Rescue. We are a new rescue serving the Newark, DE, Perryville MD and Elkton, MD areas. Our rescue focuses on rescuing and placing homeless, neglected, or abused dogs from High-Kill shelters from the South.

Though a new rescue group, we have over 12 years of combined experience (with another group) rescuing dogs.

Over the past 4 years have fostered and found loving homes for close to 4500 dogs.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process begins with you visiting our website, http://fur-everpaws.com and finding your new forever friend there. Then, simply fill out an application on our website and one of our staff (depending on the dogs location) will contact you and go over your application with you.

Then, we'll set up an appointment for you to come by and visit with the dog and, if all goes well, we'll complete the process and you can take your new little buddy home.

Everything you need to know can be found on our website, including adoption fees, requirements, information on pet insurance, etc. as well as other informative information.

Each dogs listing here includes a link to our adoptable dogs on our website where you can begin the process.

We can not unfortunately hold dogs for any reason, so if you see one you're interested in it's best to submit an application right away. Adoption Fees vary per dog, age, etc.
