My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome bay gelding is Moonshadow! Moonshadow is a Quarter Horse who originally came to Longmeadow as a stray and was adopted out for six years before being returned to the ranch at no fault of his own. Upon evaluation, our trainer found that Moonshadow was too unpredictable under saddle to be adopted as a riding horse. He is available as a pasture pet only, but don`t let this sway your opinion of this handsome man! Moonshadow is very intelligent and would do well with a person interested in groundwork training. He has a knack for learning new tricks and skills and has spent numerous hours with our groundwork team! He is a very well mannered gentleman for the vet and farrier. Moonshadow gets along best with mares as pasture mates, as he prefers to be the head honcho!

Due to previous weight issues, we suggest that Moonshadow`s adopter restricts him to a dry lot or equips him with a grazing muzzle. He is an extremely easy keeper, and does not require much to keep the weight on!

Height: 13.3 HH
Adoption fee: $350
