OCEANA is a 3-5 year old border collie mix. She weighs 44 pounds, has a lovely, shiny coat which sheds minimally. She is house-trained, non-destructive, not a barker, great with other dogs (cats unknown but maybe). She is very loving. She likes to play with other dogs, including light indoor wrestling and running outside together. Her spirit is gentle, but deep. She is shy and will divert her eyes if she doesn't know you and catches you checking her out. If she knows you, she'll look at you with mahogany eyes so mesmerizing, it's hard to look away. OCEANA lived the last couple years of her life in an outdoor shelter, safe from a life of free-roaming danger, but subject to the elements and without any of the comforts of a home or a family to dote on her. She is sweet, nonetheless, but still a little fearful and will require a compassionate person(s) to help her slough off her past and burst into the spirit she was always meant to be...And she will. She's fabulous...If you have another playful dog and a fenced in yard and aren't away all day for work, you and she may make a great match...OCEANA has been around children (not toddlers) and showed no signs of anything but gentleness and sweetness. There doesn't seem to be an aggressive bone in this precious darling's body-to other animals or to people.She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
