My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Velcro is a very sweet chunky guy who originally came to PACC in 2021 from a home with too many pets. In that home Velcro was reportedly good with other dogs of all sizes, was housebroken and crate trained, and was described by his former family as a laid-back kind of guy.

Velcro was adopted later that year but has now found himself back at PACC once again. In his most recent home, he did well with kids and with small and large dogs. He was described as affectionate, playful and a true “Velcro dog” who loves to be close to his humans. His name is Velcro for a reason after all! Velcro’s most recent family said that he loves toys, walks well on leash, and likes car rides.

In the shelter Velcro has been a sweet and easygoing guy with one volunteer saying:

“I love spending time with Velcro. He is a polite and easy walker and lives life in the slow lane, enjoying all the smells as he ambles along. He loves getting pets and gives sweet kisses in return. He’s the best boy.”

Velcro has mostly kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading off to his new home to make sure it’s a good fit. If you`re looking for a friendly pup who will stick to you like glue (or you know...Velcro,) ask about Velcro today!
