Missy: A Loving Senior in Need of a Home

Meet Missy, a gentle senior girl who's been waiting far too long for her forever home. At around 10 years old, Missy's life took a heartbreaking turn when her owner became homeless, leaving her in a kennel 24/7 at a boarding facility for over three years. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in to save her, but Missy is still in need of a foster or adopter.

Missy is an affectionate and calm girl who thrives in a home setting. She is fully housetrained and loves to play with stuffed animals and balls. While she can be a bit shy at first, once she gets to know you, she’ll be your loyal best friend, always greeting you with her beautiful smile.

Missy has gotten along with dogs her size in the past and is not reactive to other dogs, but she would do best in a home with no cats or small dogs. She knows basic commands like "sit," takes her food and treats gently, rides well in the car, and enjoys leisurely walks. She would thrive in a quiet home without children, as she’s a bit timid around them.

After meeting the pet, we do a home check, then we do foster to adopt for a week to ensure a good fit the adopters get 2 free training sessions in home after adoption, but trainer comes 1day also. Most of my dogs are on a breed restricted list so house is most likely a requirement, if they are renters I'll need to speak to landlords. Fees for 1yr- senior is 100-200$.
