My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mikey is a 17 lb Pug. He is approximately 11 months old. He is a sweet and healthy young dog. He loves people and other dogs. He is still learning manners and will need typical supervision for a dog his age. Especially in regard to proper chew toys vs rugs, furniture, etc.

Mikey pulls a little bit towards other dogs while on a walk, but is easily distracted and otherwise walks nicely. He also barks at the sight of other dogs when he is inside the car and one walks by.

We haven’t had him long enough to work on his obedience skills and leash manners so we do encourage his future adopter to take him to a local obedience class.

He loves people and plays well with the other dogs. He came to us with his brother so they learned to play hard with each other. He’s currently living with a dozen other dogs and gets along great with all of them.

We anticipate receiving many applications for Mikey. We will prioritize them by compatibility first and arrival of the application second.

If we feel he is compatible based on the application, we will contact you to arrange a time for you come here to our facility in Malibu to meet him. If after that meet and greet, we all feel like he would be a good match, then we will ask you to think it over for 24 hours. If, after that it still feels right, then I will bring Mikey to your home for the final placement.
