My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Lola! I am an English Pointer born 7/18/22. I came to Richardson rescue because my owner died and there was no one to take care of me and my siblings. She has a gentle temperament and we have observed no aggressive issues. Being a hunting dog and living outside, she does have a bit of shyness that her new family will need to work on with her. She seems timid with other dogs besides her brothers so another dog in the home should be fines. Lola is also doing great with walking on a leash and most dogs that have spent their time outside are very easy to house train. A quiet home at first with a fenced yard for her to run and explore would be ideal. I have been brought up to date on all vaccines and medical, Spayed Microchipped. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
