My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, friends! I'm Sacher, an almost 11-year-old Shar Pei/Lab mix gentleman, who has truly perfected the art of relaxation. Previously known as Gunner from St. Louis County AC, I'm now on the lookout for a forever home where I can spend my golden years in comfort.

Here's a little about me:

🛋️ Couch Potato Expert: If relaxing was a sport, I'd be a champion! I love nothing more than lounging around with my human friends.
🐕 Friendly with Dogs: I get along well with other laid-back dogs who share my love for a peaceful life.
🚶 Great on Leash: I'm an expert at leisurely strolls, perfect for enjoying a beautiful day together.
🏡 House and Crate Trained: No worries about training; I've got that all sorted out.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Loves Humans: Big or small, I adore them all. I’m also known to be quite the lap pet despite my size.
🐾 Moderate Energy: I keep things chill, making me a great companion for those who enjoy a relaxed pace.
🚫 Not Good with Cats: My laid-back vibe doesn't extend to feline friends, so I'm better off in a cat-free home.
🛡️ Protective/Territorial: I’ve got a protective streak, which means I take my duty of caring for my family seriously.
🌳 Yard Required: I enjoy having a bit of green space to roam around in safely.
Not Looking to Adopt? You Can Still Help! I understand that adopting an older dog isn't for everyone, but you can still support me by sponsoring my stay in my cozy foster home. Your help ensures I enjoy my golden years with the love and care I deserve.
