Frisco is a sweet and energetic goofball! He is full of kisses and wants nothing more than to roll around and play! His most favorite thing is the world are ball toys! He is a super chewer, and can't enough of chasing a ball around the yard. He is about a year and half old and we believe he was once potty trained in his former home. Frisco does not like cats, but we are told he does ok with other dogs. A meet a greet with potential dog siblings is required just to make sure. He does seem to like female dogs more so than male dogs. Given his big head, muscles, and propensity to throw his weight around all willy nilly, we suggest that if you have children in your life that they be older kids (7+) that don't mind getting knocked down every now and again as he plays. A little consistency and daily play time will go a long way with this sweet boy. He loves everyone, but he seems to be especially fond of men. He LOVES car rides! He would make a great travel companion. Our adoption fees for dogs includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, flea and tick prevention, heart worm prevention, heart worm tested, and microchip registration.
Adult Dogs: $200
Puppies: $225
Cat adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and tick prevention, and microchip registration.
Adult Cats: $75 (or $125 for a pair)
Kittens: $90 (or $150 for a pair)

Since 1979, the Effingham County Humane Society has been committed to serving Effingham County, IL and the surrounding area. We are located in the former Funkhouser School, and our non-profit shelter is sustained by volunteers, fundraising, contributions, and adoption fees.
