My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gamora was found outside as a very young kitten. It was apparent that she never had any human contact as she was fearful and avoided touch. It took some time for her to trust her foster family, but now she enjoys playing and cuddling. She's still cautious when meeting new people and takes some time to warm up She would do best in a quiet home with older children and even a kitty friend.
She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
