My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nanzar!

12-year-old Nanzar entered San Bernardino Shelter as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on July 8th to become a Frosted Face. Poor little Nanzar was flea infested, not neutered, and missing all but one tooth.

Fortunately, he was chosen to live with a Foster Family soon after he arrived and has been receiving extra TLC in the comfort of a home for several months. Nanzar's Foster Mom reports that building his trust is an ongoing process.

"Nanzar is a really cute fun little dog. He follows me everywhere and is super excited when I get home, jumping all around. But he isn't a dog that you can touch much or pick up. I can just now put a harness on him, but I go really slow.

Nanzar is a good boy, but he just is very hesitant about human touch."

We are so thankful for the patience and understanding of Nanzar's Foster Family as he continues to decompress from his neglectful past.
