Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bruno Breakfast came to us from the Humane Society of Imperial County on May 10. He is 9 years old and weighs 8.75 lbs. He is a sweet little guy with an adorable underbite.
Bruno Breakfast has kidney disease and gets subcutaneous fluids every other day. He is the best boy during it and just lays on your lap. If you don't have experience giving subQ fluids, no problem! We are happy to show you how to do, and we provide everything you need.
Bruno Breakfast went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so he could get lots of TLC while we learned what he is like in a home environment.
His Fling Mom shares:
"Bruno is the quietest, sweetest little dog. He mapped his way to the water and food dishes and around the yard. He gets up and paces by the door to let you know he needs out!
Bruno spends most of his time on the dog bed sleeping. He explores at times and then heads back to bed. He is so sweet with every living creature - people, other dogs, & cats - not a mean bone in his body. It bothered him when our other dogs barked, and he started to pace, but never made a peep.
Bruno is a 9-year-old with a body that shows he has not had an easy life. He just needs a home where he can rest and be kept warm. Bruno LOVES to be held and not only sleeps through the night but sleeps in! He loves his sunshine and enjoys snuggling next to another dog or curling up on the bed.
Bruno does have to stay on a renal diet and get subcutaneous fluids every other day, which he easily allows you to give. He is NEVER snappy or in a bad mood. Just a go with the flow kind of dog. He would be such a great addition for someone that just wants a sweet little lap dog."
Bruno Breakfast is currently on a second Fling, so he can continue to receive TLC and rest in the comforts of a home. Might that be with you?
