My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rose, a young and friendly dog, is searching for a forever home where she can be showered with love and affection. This athletic girl is both affectionate and gentle, and she has a playful side that comes out when she's feeling comfortable. She may seem a little shy at first, but with a little time and patience, Rose opens up to show her loving and affectionate side. She's a smart girl who is trained in basic commands and knows how to walk on a leash. Rose would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and comfortable. She loves her walks and playing with her favorite squeaky toy, and she would love a home where she can get lots of exercise and playtime. Due to her shy nature, Rose would do best in a home without other dogs. She is looking for a family of her own to give all of her love to! If you think you could give Rose the loving home she deserves, please come meet her today!

More about this rescue

The Morgan County Humane Society is a non-profit organization exempt from Federal taxes under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are permitted to accept tax-deductible gifts from donors.

The goal of the Morgan County Humane Society is to provide animal services to all animals, both domestic and wild. We realize there is a need for these services for at least one-half of the citizens of the county, especially in the rural areas. We wish to start a low-cost spay/neuter program to control pet overpopulation and provide public education for animal care issues that will enhance the quality of life for both pet owners and the animals.
