MANNY is a 4 year old, male mastiff/boxer mix that weighs 75 lbs. He's big and he's chunky and he's a big squishmallow. He was found on a rural road with 2 of his siblings who were more outgoing and adopted quickly. Manny prefers to take new things more slowly.
Our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program can provide a dog more than obedience training. It's also a wonderful socialization experience. Manny has bonded closely to his inmate and, one step at a time, the world is becoming a friendlier place. If looks could be deceiving, this is a perfect example. Manny fashions himself a lap dog. And if he can't fit in your lap, rolling over for belly rubs are the next best thing.
Manny's perfect home will be a quiet, patient one. He behaves well around other dogs and once he "learns" how to play, we'll find out what kind of dog he prefers. Right now, his inmate is the center of his world. If you're that person looking for your canine "soul" mate, Manny's the dog! As much love as you give him, he'll give it all back!
