My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn does well with low-key dogs and slow intros. Hes a really sweet boy who aims to please but picked up some bad manners, like jumping on humans, while growing up in a shelter. A foster in the Lexington or Versailles areas would be most ideal so that he can attend our weekly group training sessions. Finns adoption fee is WAIVED for an approved foster-to-adopt home*. If you're interested in foster-to-adopt, please submit an adoption application.Fostering is FREE! Saved By Fate Dog Rescue provides everything you need to care for your foster dog through adoption. Finn has already completed his vet care with the exception of a microchip. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
