Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Introducing Lima! Named after the legendary MLB All-Star Jose Lima, she came to her foster mom scared, shut down and unwilling to leave the hiding space behind her bathtub. Fast forward a few patient months later, and Lima is a brand new cat! She follows her foster mom around the apartment and loves head scratches and watching the bird feeder from her window perch! She is a very sweet and friendly girl who will make a lovely companion for anyone who is willing to be patient with her!
This sweetheart can't resist a squeeze-up treat and will make her way over for some chin and head scratches. Lima is pretty playful... She goes bonkers for ribbon toys and laser pointers, and her idea of a perfect day involves lounging by a window, keeping an eye on those pesky birds.
Lima is currently enjoying the solo spotlight in her foster home, but we think may do okay with a furry friend, given the right introductions.
Lima is estimated to be about 5.5 years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. She is a sweet little lady who just needs your patience and love. Could you be Lima's fur-ever home? Please apply to meet her today!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.

Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
