Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Victoria (aka Vicky) is a beautiful dog! She gets all kinds of attention while out for rides and walks and greets new human friends with hugs and kisses. She's a versatile girl who knows how to chill at home on the couch (across your lap or by your feet) but also enjoys outdoors time. Vicky loves her balls and chew toys and has even learned to play fetch! Vicky is amazing with children and has lived with a child with ASD. She dog-tested well with male dogs at the shelter but wasn't around female dogs much. Vicky may do best being an only-dog, but we'll consider all applicants. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial. Vicky tested okay with cats at the shelter but wed like to re-test her before placing her in a home with a cat(s). Prior to her arriving in her foster home, Victoria spent about a week with a professional dog trainer to help set her up for success. In her foster home, she's been working on various commands. Vicky already follows a few commands like, "go to your bed" if you need some space... Shes sooo smart! Vicky is also housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps through the night. She rides in the car with a pup seat belt and knows how to get in, sit, and wait to be strapped in (she will sneak a soft kiss). Vicky is estimated to be about a year old and weighs just under 50 lb. She is currently looking for a new foster home. Her adoption fee is WAIVED for an approved foster-to-adopt home*. If you're interested in foster-to-adopt, please submit an adoption application. Vicky has completed her vet care and is ready for her forever family! Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue
Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
