KIT is a 10 month old, mixed breed female that came to us as a family surrender. She weighs 40 lbs and was surrendered because cute puppies grow up into energetic adults.
She is now in good hands. We're getting her the care and attention she needs in the hopes of finding a perfect family fit for her. She is very outgoing and affectionate. To address the energy? She is currently participating in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Here, she lives with her inmate on a 24/7 basis. It's a win, win for her. She finally has the companionship dogs thrive on and while she thinks she's getting exercised and having fun, she is actually learning basic obedience.
When we first met her, her tail was tucked and her ears layed back. Now that tail is wagging and those ears are pricked right up. She has another month or so of training but we have no doubt she'll get better every day. She is the perfect fit for anyone looking. She's young, she's a nice size and she'll have great manners and much desired obedience skills.
If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. Please visit our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com and click on Kit's picture in "Adoptable Dogs". Additional adoption FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants based on our "best family fit" approach.
Thank you
