Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My name is Dolce (some of the staff call me Panda!). I am a sweet and loyal dog who is almost 3-years old. I have good leash manners most of the time, if I get too excited and try to pull on the leash, all you have to say is `wait`. I tend to enjoy car rides and sit well during the journey. For the most part, I am a quiet dog and love to sleep the day away on a couch. My foster family describes me as friendly, affectionate, and shy at times. While I can be shy when meeting new people, if introduced correctly, I tend to warm up quickly! Please ask SPCA staff more about how to introduce dogs to new people when you come to meet Dolce. I also enjoy playing with toys (I am really good with my stuffies and don`t tend to tear them up). I love to lounge around with breaks to get up and go outside for some fun. I am unsure how I would do around children and ask that you please bring ALL family members in the household to meet with me to ensure a good match. I do not enjoy having other pets in my household because I want 100% of the attention and love! While in foster care, my foster said I was housebroken and used the potty outside. However, after living in a kennel environment for quite some time, I may need a refresher while learning your routine. To meet me, please visit the SPCA Cincinnati (11900 Conrey Road) any day of the week from 12p-6p.
Dolce is available for Adoption, Foster-To-Adopt or a Paw Pass Adventure. A “Paw Pass” is a hall pass for dogs for either the day or an overnight. Resident dogs can not accompany a day pass but can be introduced on an overnight or weekend pass. For more information about fostering, email foster@spcacincinnati.org.
