Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia is beautiful and sweet, with a sassy personality! She's very chatty, and loves conversations. Georgia hugs your ankles for attention! When you are sitting, Georgia will lay on your feet. She has the biggest purr while held (hugged) and petted. She plays with all the fun kitty toys, and enjoys running through her tunnel. She enjoys looking outside, and sunning on her cat tower. She has become the queen of the couch in her foster home, and gets along great with the resident dogs, and other cats! Georgia came to us with her kittens, and has taken very good care of them. All of HALO's cats are available for adoptions have been spayed or neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

All the animals are microchipped.

Dogs and cats receive a complete check by a veterinarian.

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
