My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is an almost three year-old seal bicolor ragdoll. She would love to celebrate her 3rd birthday in a forever home with lots of love. Coco is a little slow to warm up, but then she loves pets. With time, her personality will show.

She was raised with many other cats and would likely adjust well in a home with cats. We do not know if she has been exposed to dogs.

More about this rescue

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
