Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*We only place our Career Change Dogs within a 50 mile range of our facility in Malibu, CA.
After reading the bio below and you are interested in learning more about Juni, please fill out our online application at www.samsimonfoundation.org. Any applicant that we feel may be compatible will be contacted. (please check your spam/junk mailboxes)
Our policy is for potentially compatible applicants to come here to Malibu to meet the dog. If still interested, we require a 24 hour think-it-over period. If it still seems to be a good match, a trainer from SSF will bring the dog to your home for the final yard/home check and placement of the dog. We may request that you send pictures or videos of your home and yard first.
Juni:
Juni is a healthy, 10 lb, Maltese/ShihTzu/Chihuahua/Something mix. She is approximately 1 year old. She needs a person with time and interest in teaching her to walk nicely on a leash. She will pull backwards and she also reacts by pulling and barking at other dogs. For this reason, she cannot be placed in an apartment nor in a home without a securely fenced yard.
She has hair that grows so she will need to be brushed often and receive haircuts on a regular basis. Prospective adopters are encouraged to look at what that will cost in your area.
Juni is housebroken with her bathroom habits. but she might chew on a little something here and there if she has access to it. She is still a young and curious dog.
She prefers to be with people and will cry if left alone. She likes all people and kids and gets along well with other dogs (except for those she sees while on a leash).
Juni is a very sweet and cute little dog and will make a great companion for a retired person who wants a dog to follow them around, sit on their lap, and who will get along well with the grandkids.
