My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mouse is a 4-year-old, 45-pound Siberian Husky who's ready to find her forever home! This friendly and playful girl is housetrained, keeping her run at the shelter spotless. Mouse enjoys a variety of activities, including zoomies in the yard, car rides, walks, hikes, and might even make a great running partner. She adores toys and loves playing with other dogs.

While Mouse hasn't been exposed to kids in our care, we believe she'd do well with them. She's already learned "sit" and shows great potential for further training. True to her Husky heritage, Mouse can be vocal, so she needs a home without shared walls. Additionally, she may have escape artist tendencies, so yard supervision is necessary.

Kennel staff describe Mouse as a sweet, pretty girl who loves to play and go for walks. She does well with durable toys, although she loves to shred stuffed ones. Mouse enjoys bones, rubs, and attention, and she rarely jumps, only doing so when invited for a hug. She walks nicely on a leash and is eager to learn more.

Mouse is described as friendly, outgoing, confident, adaptable, happy, playful, and loyal. She would be a perfect addition to a home that can offer her a couple of walks and playtime each day, but most importantly, all the love in the world. If you're looking for a stunning and loving companion, Mouse is the perfect choice! Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
