Meet Chico!

Chico was recently surrendered to our shelter. While his previous owner claimed he is part Pug and part Chihuahua, our vet believes he may actually be a mix of Lab and Beagle, or possibly Lab and Husky, or even Husky and Beagle. Whatever his genetic makeup, Chico is a wonderful dog who is sure to win your heart!

Chico is playful but not overly energetic, making him a perfect companion for both active playtimes and relaxed evenings. He has a gentle and caring nature, and is incredibly affectionate.

Since arriving at the shelter, Chico has been a bit confused and has shown a somewhat submissive personality. However, he is slowly becoming more comfortable and open, revealing his true, charming self. He is up to date on all vaccines and ready to find his forever home.

Additional adoption info

Call 740-934-2693 to make an appointment to visit pets at our shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before leaving our facility. You must fill out an adoption form and be approved. We will need to see a driver license or valid id card with your address.

$150.00 adoption fee for dogs/puppies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and rabies shots, wormed, heartworm and lyme disease tested.

$50.00 adoption fee for cats. All cats are up to date on shots, have been spayed and neutered, and feline leukemia tested.
