SANSA:

Sansa is a super sweet, loving girl who came to the rescue with her bonded mate, Frankie,
when her owner could no longer care for her. The bonded pair are never far from each other
and take comfort from each other’s company. She is an old soul and looking for a forever
home with a loving family. She loves to hang out and explore in the back yard, and just
sleeping in a bed near her people. She lives easily with other dogs and is timid. She takes
her time getting to know new people, but once she becomes familiar, she loves following her
people around and getting scratches! She just wants to be close to her humans. Sansa has a
low to moderate energy level. She is fully house broken and uses a doggie door well. Sansa
easily fell into the routine of her foster home and enjoys having her people around.

FRANKIE:

Frankie is a super sweet, loving boy who came to the rescue with his bonded mate, Sansa,
when his owner could no longer care for him. The bonded pair are never far from each other
and take comfort from each other’s company. Frankie is playful and looking for a forever home
with older or no children. He loves his stuffie toys. He is also a cuddle bug and loves to just
be close to his human. If you are looking for a totally entertaining, goofball, Frankie is your pup
who loves to make you laugh. Frankie is on daily thyroid medication and will need to be for the
rest of his life. Frankie is fully house broken and uses a doggie door. While in foster, he quickly
adapted to the routine of the home and loved having his people around.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
