Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Surprise, it's a GIRL!!!! (Even we didn't know for sure until her most recent vet visit!)
Eddie Christmas, aka Little Eddie, was found all alone on a country road beside a cow pasture when she was barely 2 weeks old. She was bottle fed until she decided she was a big girl and could drink his kitten formula from a bowl. He soon started wet food and kitten kibble and took to it like a champ!
She loves to play with her older “brothers and sister” and thinks she is bigger than all of them! ❤️ She loves snuggles with her foster Momma and playing with anything she can get her little mittens on. See has perfect litterbox manners, too!
Eddie's foster Mom says: “I love all my furbabies but have to warn you ~ this one is SPECIAL!! I can’t put into words what it is, but she has a special CHARM." He is purr-fect!
She has had limited exposure to one dog and is cautious. She has not had experience with children. If you are looking for a tiny fluff ball of pure LOVE, Little Eddie is your gal!”
Eddie Christmas has had all age appropriate vaccines and has been treated for parasites, she will be spayed and micro-chipped when she is old enough. (If he is adopted before she is old enough to be neutered, SPCHS will provide a voucher to cover the cost of neutering.)

After you complete an application, there are several things that we will do:
1. We will check your personal references. Please be sure to list two personal references and include a phone number and an email address. (form asks for one; but I like two)
2. If you do not own your place of residence, we will call your landlord or leasing office. Please check with them first to learn about their pet policy.
3. We will call your veterinarian for a reference. We are looking for a history of annual exams, vaccines maintained routinely, annual heartworm tests and monthly preventatives. We require the following:
* All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered.
* If your pet is not up to date on vaccines, please do not submit the application until you have scheduled an appointment with the vet to get your pets current on their vaccines.
4. If you are a 1st-time pet owner, please include the name and phone number of the veterinarian you plan to use.
5. Be sure to call your Vet(s), giving them permission to speak with us.
6. We may need to do a home visit prior to approving your application, or post-adoption.
If these policies and practices are not acceptable, please do not apply.
