My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jill!
Jill is a 3 1/2 yr old St. Bernandoodle. She weighs 89 lbs. She`s a big fluffy teddy bear w a heart of gold! She is just the sweetest! Her days of having puppies are over and she is now looking forward to finding a wonderful home where she can have fun, play and go for walks and just be a big fun dog.. She is good with other dogs, cats are unknown. Older kids that respect dogs will be fine, but no small children. She will make a wonderful companion for most any home! Right now she is sporting her longer winter do, but whether you keep her hair short or longer in length, doodles do require regular grooming.
You will just LOVE her!!

More about this shelter

The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) was formed in 1992 with the goal of rescuing 50 stray and unwanted animals in the Salem, NH area. During that year, SARL rescued a total of 157 animals, affirming the need for an alternative to traditional municipal animal control. SARL's history is one of community interaction with police, town government and the people of the community. Today, the Salem Animal Rescue League rescues and adopts close to 800 dogs and cats per year.
