My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rudy!
Rudy Toots! As I call him is a 3 mnth old smooth coated Dachshund. He has the shiniest, silkiest coat! He is cutest little guy!
He is a little lovebug. His favorite thing is to cuddle with his person! He will need lots of patience since well......he is a puppy!
Housetraining and mouthiness are all part of the fun of having a puppy so you will need to be on board for both.
As cute as he is, there will be some work involved too, but it will all be worth it because Rudy Toots will give his person or family ALL his love!!
He is good with other dogs but has never meet a cat. Older children would be best due to his small size.
He can`t wait to find his new furever home!

More about this shelter

The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) was formed in 1992 with the goal of rescuing 50 stray and unwanted animals in the Salem, NH area. During that year, SARL rescued a total of 157 animals, affirming the need for an alternative to traditional municipal animal control. SARL's history is one of community interaction with police, town government and the people of the community. Today, the Salem Animal Rescue League rescues and adopts close to 800 dogs and cats per year.
