Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
12-year-old Shot Put was rescued from the streets of Tijuana and then lived in a foster home before becoming a Frosted Face on July 18th. Shot Put is such an easy-going sweetheart! He is so friendly, loves attention, and gives kisses. He is also great with other dogs!
If you are looking for a wonderful companion who just wants a person to hang out with and a soft bed to rest on, look no further!
Shot Put is currently on his second Frosted Fling, and in both homes, he has earned raved reviews for being:
* polite & friendly towards people
* good with other dogs
* 100% house-trained
* not a picky eater
* great walker on leash
* likes to be with his people but will settle down and sleep when left alone
* an excellent sleeper
His Fling mom reports:
"Shot Put loves living in a home and is thriving having a routine. He loves his walks, meals, and naps!
Here is what else I've learned about this amazing boy:
* He is non-reactive to dogs, sounds and small animals (no prey drive at all.)
* He is quick to bond with his human and very trusting.
* He is good meeting dogs on walks.
* He can definitely live in a home with other dogs, as he's very dog friendly. I think he would also be ok as an only dog because he really loves his person.
* He doesn't enjoy car rides but likes going places.
* I am able to leave him home alone either free in a room or in a crate.
* He sleeps through the night, curled up in a little ball in his bed.
* He is well-behaved at dog-friendly restaurants.
I am really wondering why this precious pup has not found a forever home yet!"
