Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are looking for a sweet companion to keep you company, look no further!
Hanna is a lovely petite grey tabby who fits this to a tee! She is an incredible lap cat. Any time we go into her room, she settles down on our laps for a purr-fest.
She rarely leaves of her own desire, content to sit on her lap for hours on end.
Hanna was rescued in Northern Ontario and ended up in a shelter with her newborn litter of 5. When the kittens were 2 weeks old she was transferred to an Abbey Cats foster home in the GTA. Her kittens have now been adopted and it is Hanna’s turn to find her forever home.
Some remnants of Hanna’s life as a stray remain. She is on the timid side and is cautious in new settings, with new people, and is scared of loud noises. However, she is also one of the most affectionate cats we have ever met.
She loves being with people and getting attention, and when she is in her favourite place - sitting on a warm lap - she looks at us as if we are the best people in the world and asks for more love. She arches her back into the pets and settles down for a contented nap.
Since her kittens have left, Hanna is also becoming more playful and has been seen running around the room chasing balls and other toys, and she has also been seen leaping for wand toys!
We think that she will likely enjoy most being a solo cat so she can have all the attention to herself. She will likely do best in a smaller space, such as an apartment or condo, as she likes to feel cozy and comfortable.
Hanna needs a patient adopter who will let this beauty blossom on her own terms. Once you have earned her trust, she will be the sweetest girl and will reward you with her devoted company and endless lap time.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
