My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie, a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who tips the scales at a sturdy 60 pounds of pure love! This handsome boy is the total package—brains, charm, and a goofy streak that'll keep you smiling. Charlie is a quick learner and already knows how to sit, shake (with both paws!), and lay down. With his trainable nature, he’s ready to impress you with even more tricks.

When he’s not showing off his smarts, Charlie is the ultimate couch companion, happy to lounge and soak up all the love you can give. He adores toys and bones but plays gently—no destruction here! Charlie thrives on attention and affection, and his playful personality really shines when he gets the zoomies. He’s a pro at the classic bow-and-run routine, and while a fenced yard isn’t a must, it would be his dream come true for endless frolics and fun.

Charlie is reportedly good with other dogs, though he hasn’t had any pup playdates while in our care. Ready to make him your loyal sidekick? His adoption fee is $150, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if he's 4 months or older. Don't wait—Charlie is ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and a little bit of zoom!

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
