Hey there! I’m Maylene, a fun-loving 2-year-old gal weighing in at 60 lbs. You could say I’m a bundle of energy, always ready for a new adventure or a sunny spot to relax in.
I walk so politely on a leash that I make outings a breeze! Strolling through the kennel, I can’t help but show off my charm, and I’m always excited to meet new friends—human and canine alike. Treats? Oh, yes, please! I adore them, but honestly, there’s nothing quite like soaking up the sunshine after a good romp.

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Tuesday 11:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
