My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

The perfect Little Brown Dog!

Honey is an approximately 2 year-old, 20 pound best of all breeds, AKA a mutt! Sweet Honey was found in a field with a group of 6 pups so she really loves the company of other dogs, but is also a champion snuggler who loves to groom her foster momma's hair!

Honey is an extraordinarily sweet dog. She is very affectionate. She seeks out physical contact as much as possible, preferably on your lap or chest.

Don't let her serious face fool you! Honey has a definite silly side. When she’s feeling playful, she loves to play fetch or play with squeaky toys.

Honey is crate trained, house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and walks well on leash. She also knows several behaviors when asked.

Under our veterinarian's guidance, Honey started anti-anxiety medication and it has helped her tremendously, particularly during times of transition.

Do you have the time and patience to help Honey continue to learn what it feels like to be safe, relaxed and loved? Please fill out an application today!
