My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/10 cat: She's friendly, affectionate, playful, ALWAYS uses her litter box, and not destructive. She is a bitty baby: only 8.5 lbs, she has basic shots and a microchip, and had a dental cleaning less than a year ago. She's also fixed already. Because Taylor Swift is FIV+, she has to stay isolated from my cat, so she has been confined to one room of my house at a time and she is SO LONELY, y'all. She just wants a buddy. If you ever were jealous of people with affectionate cats, she's your girl. She's such an easy cat. She's been isolated for almost a year with just a few visits from us a day and she hadn't gotten destructive or problematic, so while she needs a friend to snuggle, I also believe that she would adapt well to a home of a busy adult who is out a lot.

FIV isn't death sentence for cats. Generally speaking, the biggest issue is higher risk of complications from infections or injuries, so she'll need someone who can offer her annual vet visits and keep her indoors / up to date on shots. And REALLY with the indoors part. She MUST go to an exclusively indoor home. The good news is that she has seen what the outdoors has to offer and she is NOT INTERESTED. She wants to perch by a window and watch, but she is not a runner and doesn't try to leave the house ever.

She's great with all adults and kids. She actually seems to get along with other cats, if you have an FIV+ baby already (You also probably don't want to mix her with non-FIV+ cats. FIV is spread though bites so she could give it to another cat if they played a little too hard. She doesn't seem to mind dogs once she gets a chance to meet them, and we're confident she would be fine with any dog who is good with cats.

Taylor is currently located in South Carolina but can be transported to Ohio for the right adopter.
