Charlotte was found tied to a post in the parking lot of a 7-11. A good Samaritan rescued her but was unable to keep her due to her own health issues and contacted Save A Yorkie.

Charlotte was very timid and startled easily when she first came to us, but with lots of love and stability has come out of her shell. She is a fun, feisty companion who loves to be outdoors, enjoys playing with her toys, our other dogs, running and exploring our backyard.

She is well behaved for a two-year-old but would benefit from professional training. She loves her person and has a protective streak. She would do well in a home where she receives a lot of time and attention. She will follow you everywhere. Daily exercise is an absolute must for her to release some of her energy. Car rides are not a favorite, she does best when crated for the ride.

She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

She will require a yard with a 6 foot fence.

1. Fill out an adoption application on our website.
2. We contact the adopter for an interview.
3. We REQUIRE a home visit.
4. Our adoption donation is usually $250 to $500 for a dog but may be more if the dog is very young.
5. There is a legal contract that must be signed. The Yorkie can never be sold, given away or dropped at a shelter. We ALWAYS want our Yorkie back.

We are Yorkshire Terrier rescue. We help people find the Yorkie they have been looking for and we help the people who have a Yorkie they cannot keep.
