My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andy is a 1yo male tricolor Beagle. He’s a small boy, about 18lbs, but he’s also a bit underweight, his ideal weight I think it should be around 23lbs. We’re currently working on helping him gain some weight. Andy was a “birthday gift” to a kid when he was a puppy, and when he grew up the family realized that they didn’t have the enough time or space for him, that’s why he was surrendered to us. He was the only dog in the household so we’re also working on getting him a bit socialized around other dogs. He’s an active boy, he’d benefit from being in a home with an active owner/family. He’s a friendly pup but does need some time to warm to you, looks like he wasn’t properly socialized as a puppy. Most of the rescues we receive are not house/potty trained. We’re currently working on crate training, to sleep indoors at night.
