Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I'm Elphelt, a 7-month young New Zealand rabbit and I came to HAWS with my sister, Ramlethal, from another shelter to make room there for other rabbits. We are bonded so that means you need to adopt us together. You will be our hero for adopting us but know you are also a hero to the two bunnies at the other shelter we made room for ... how great is that!? We are two of the sweetest rabbits you'll meet and you'll know it the minute you meet us because we come to the front door to say HI!
I think we'll make a great pet for nearly any household. That said, I have to mention that we will need adult supervision with any young children in the home because we are fragile creatures that can be easily hurt or startled. While young children are naturally loving, they can hug a little too hard sometimes. Loud noises and voices or quick movements can frighten us so a quiet home will be a dream come true. We might be an excellent first-time pet to older children? Or we might be perfect for a senior person/couple looking for a less active companion animal? Come meet me and my sister today. Primary Color: White Weight: 7 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks
