Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I'm Ramlethal, a 7-month young New Zealand rabbit and I came to HAWS with my brother, Elphelt, from another shelter to make room there for other rabbits. Unusual names perhaps, unless you are a fan of the Guilty Gear series. And if not, you can always change our names (that's OK because the staff at the last shelter named us). We are bonded so that means you need to adopt us together. How great is that ... double the love! We've been here at HAWS longer than some of the other rabbits, don't know why, but maybe it's our eyes? Yes, they are always red. NOT because I haven't slept enough ... or have allergies ... it's just our breed! We are friendly and we will come to our front door to greet you!
If you've never lived with a rabbit before, I can assure you we're not a lot of work. Our bedding should be spot cleaned daily and removed entirely once a week to maintain hygiene inside our enclosure. Our diet consists mostly of hay but we also eat fruits, vegetables and rabbit pellets. I'm told having a rabbit as a pet is perfect for those who may not have time for daily walks, but still seek the social quality of a dog-like companion. And, like cats, we're litter box trained. Since we're the best of both worlds, why not come and meet me and my brother today? Primary Color: White Weight: 7.075 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks
