Oliver is a lovely colored merle Australian Shepherd. Oliver's owner was having severe health issues and tried everything she could to find him a home on her own. Oliver is almost 4 years old, he is house and kennel-trained. He does not do well with cats and smaller dogs. Oliver does best in a home with a submissive female dog. When surrendered Olivers owner expressed that he does not like men/teenage boys. So far here at the shelter, Oliver has done well with our male dog walkers, he has shown dislike towards teenage boys however. Oliver has had some training with the basics, but could use good refresher. He loves to play fetch, swim and go for runs. Being a herding breed Oliver will chase cars, bikes and likes to herd humans. Oliver is neutered and current on all vaccines.
