Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Korra is an adorable little mutt who has stolen the heart of everyone she's met. While she arrived at HES extremely scared and shut down, it quickly became clear that she gained a lot of confidence from being around and playing with other dogs, so she was moved into a foster home where she could learn to be brave from her foster siblings. Even though these foster siblings are older and not as playful, it is clear that Korra has benefitted tremendously from living with other dogs, and would do best in a home where she has another dog or dogs around.
Once away from the stressful environment of the shelter, Korra warms up quickly and becomes a very silly, animated, and joyful dog! Her favorite things to do are run in the yard, play with her squeaky toys, and nap on the sofa next to her favorite humans and pups. Although she has made amazing progress in foster care, Korra is still nervous around new people and skittish about strange noises or sudden movements and would do best in a quiet home without too much commotion. She is still learning how to walk on a leash, so having a fenced yard where she can use the bathroom-- she's housebroken!-- and get her exercise would be best for her while she learns.
Ask to meet Korra and you're sure to fall in love with the sweetest pup around!
