Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“I Love Lucy” was a beloved family sitcom which aired in the 1950s, featuring the hilariously spicy comedienne Lucille Ball. In the show, Lucy and her BFF Ethel got into goofy hijinks and made audiences roar with laughter. We think our sweet Lucy is the perfect new BFF for you, and she promises to come along for whatever fun times you have in mind!
Lucy’s former owner shared that she was great with young kids and good with most dogs, house trained, a couch potato, walks well on leash, loves toys, is independent, and knows tricks.
During a brief adoption, Lucy did well with other dogs, was housebroken, and was well- behaved when left home alone. Her adopters said that she likes to go hiking, does well in the car, and is playful and affectionate:
“Lucy gets along well with our two other dogs and is very loving. She is house trained. Lucy is extremely loving and very, very smart. She loves to play with her toys and snuggle on the couch. She would be a great companion for someone where she is not around farm animals. She comes when she is called.”
Volunteers here at the shelter sure do love Lucy too! Here’s what a few have to say about her:
“Lucy is super affectionate- she likes to sit right next to you and lean. She walks politely and shares her kennel well with another pup.”
“Lucy is sweet and gentle, smart and knows paw.”
“Lucy was very easy to leash up. I asked her to sit, she did and then patiently waited for me to get the slip lead over her head. She didn’t mind any of the other dogs as we exited. She listens really well and is quick to sit and even shake for a treat. Super friendly and a very easy dog to walk.”
Lucy shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. She is looking for a home with a secure yard to keep her safe and one without livestock. If you’re looking for a sweet and devoted girl, come meet Lucy today!
