Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cats: LOVES them. Ron is smitten with the kitty in his foster home.
Other dogs: Does well with other calm dogs.
Children: Lets foster's older grandchild pet him. The younger one (6) is too loud-it makes him a little anxious but did allow a few pets.
Adults: Gets along with all adults and wags his nub at them and allows pets and scratches.
Leash training: Working on walking with a leash, but usually wants in as soon as he goes out.
Great things about HHR Ron: Ron is a sweet gentle boy. He is getting less frightened, and comes to you for some pets, scratches and love at times.
He sleeps in a gated bedroom. He does like to see that his people are there, especially before he lays down for the night. He is insecure and likes to keep you in his sight. He likes the cool air conditioning in the hot weather. He doesn’t try to flee from the house.
Medical/Vetting: Ron is completely blind in one eye, and at times runs into things, or doesn’t see his resident dogs or his humans.
