Meet Polar! ❄️🐾

Polar is a sweet and timid pup who is slowly coming out of his shell. He’s done great with his foster’s two resident dogs, following their lead on routines and potty training. He hasn’t been around cats or kids but has done wonderfully with groomers and is gentle with adults.

He’s making great progress with potty training and is learning to walk on a leash. Crate-trained and social, he settles in easily—especially if he can see his people or snuggle with another dog.

Polar has the most soulful eyes, a soft prance that will melt your heart, and a cuddly nature. He’s not a big barker but loves being included. With time and love, he’s going to make an incredible companion.

If you’re looking for a loving, gentle pup to blossom in your care, Polar is your guy! 🐶💙

This is a topic we get lots of messages about! How can you adopt from HavaHeart Rescue?

❗️STEP 1: Complete an application: 🔗 https://havaheartrescue.org/adopt-with-us and express interest on AdoptAPet

❗️STEP 2: Wait for one of our application processors to contact you to complete the screening process.

❗️STEP 3: If you are approved you will be invited to a private Facebook group reserved for our Foster and Adoptive families. We post fostering/adoption
opportunities there first!

❗️STEP 4: Once your group membership is approved, you will see an album featuring photos of currently available dogs, you can express interest in each dog in
the comment section under their individual photos.

❗️STEP 5: Wait to see if you are selected for any of the dogs that match your interest - don't get discouraged if you aren't matched with a particular dog, we always choose the best fit for the dog, there will always be another dog who needs you!
