* Dog Friendly
* Crate Trained- Best behaved dog I`ve ever had when it comes to crating. Doesn`t bark or whine even if he can hear other people/dogs in the house
* Generally sleeps a lot but also has bursts of playfulness and likes to chew toys or play fetch
* Happy to meet new people
* House trained
* Likes affection/cuddles and will make cute snorting noises when you rub his belly
* Doesn`t pull on the leash while walking. When he is excited at the shelter he leash bites but his behavior is much better outside that environment and he is very easy to walk
* Went for a long walk on the rail trail and he didn`t care at all about scooters or bikes zipping by him
* Very treat motivated
* Knows sit
* Can be mouthy when he is excited (it`s gentle and he responds quickly to correction and I already saw significant improvement in the week I had him)

If you are looking for a new pet, Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Services shelter has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
