My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Rory Gilmore is currently boarding with our friends at Pet Care Plus, and she is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Meet Rory Gilmore!
This sweet pup is ready to find her forever home and promises to keep the Jeep safe—no deer collisions here! Rory loves to explore, whether it`s sniffing out new trails on a walk or investigating the backyard. With a heart as big as her dreams of Yale, she’s a loyal companion who adores her family and thrives on love and affection.

While she may have a few suitors vying for her attention, Rory’s true love is spending quality time with you! If you’re looking for a devoted friend to share adventures and cozy nights in, Rory is your girl. She`ll be throwing around the stuffies as you veg out on the couch. Rory does also thrive around other dogs and loves to play chase. She`d be a great addition to an already active home!

Adopt this lovable scholar today and help her make all her dreams come true—because with Rory by your side, every day will be an exciting new adventure! You can start each morning with a cup of coffee at Luke`s.

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
