My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meowdy, I’m Bobbin, your purrsonal stitch of joy! I purr so loud you’ll think there’s a tiny motorcycle in the room—it’s my version of a drumroll for meow-nificent entrances. My biscuit-making skills are purrfection, and my kneading technique is Michelin-star quality (just ask my favorite plush blankie).

By day, I’m a certified office assistant. Need a memo sent? I’ve been known to “accidentally” send Teams messages or book a few extra snack breaks on behalf of my hooman. When I’m not working, I’m your shadow girl, following you everywhere to make sure you’re never lonely—even bathroom breaks are a team effort!

By night, I’m a pawfessional toy tester—springs, ball towers, tunnels, you name it, I’m on it. I play fetch like a pro-cat-sional! Got a tail-wag when I’m happy? You bet I do—it’s the feline equivalent of a standing ovation.

My favorite fur sibling is Pin Cushion (we’re the catnip dream team), but I can purr-severe solo if needed. Bonus points if you’ve got a playmate for me, though—I’d love a partner in crime (or, you know, napping). So what do you say? Ready to let Bobbin sew some love into your life?

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
