Hi, my name is Scruffington and I go by Scruffy! I'm a cheerful Southern boy who made my way up north to Twin Cities Pet Rescue about six months ago. I’m a happy little guy with a big heart, ready to share my love with a forever family.
I absolutely adore meeting new people! I love to sit in laps and give kisses, bringing joy to everyone I meet. I generally do well with other dogs, although I appreciate a few minutes to greet them before jumping into playtime.
Cuddling is one of my favorite activities, especially with my foster mom at night. While I’m okay with using a crate when necessary, I prefer not to spend too much time in it. I enjoy being part of all the house activities and even love joining in on games like Tripoli!
I’m making great progress with my house manners and have learned that sitting earns me treats! I also love to watch squirrels out the window and am a good boy who doesn’t usually bark while observing. Once I’m worn out from all the fun, you’ll find me curled up under the blankets or snoozing in a lap.
My ideal home would be one without other animals so that I can have all the attention I crave. I absolutely love being the center of attention and can’t wait to find my forever home where I can shower my new family with love and companionship.

To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!
PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the TCPR office in Maplewood, MN.
