My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a dog to match your energy? Cobweb’s your guy! Whether it’s lots of
cuddle time or active time playing fetch,
Cobweb is always down to follow your lead. This quirky fellow loves to “talk” to you when he’s ready for a little attention and is always so happy to see you come home. Cobweb has a history of separation anxiety but has come along way to overcome that. He does a happy dance and barks when you come home but with a little attention and/or treats, he calms down. Cobweb free rooms and one of his favorite challenges is trying to escape a kennel or gate so you don’t even have to worry about those pesky things! This smart guy knows which toys are his and is fully potty trained.

Cobweb is estimated to be between 5-7 years old and has some arthritis in his back leg and hip. He doesn’t let that slow him down though! He enjoys low to moderate activity and will play fetch on repeat. Cobweb is unable to jump, but he can crawl up onto lower couches and beds. He also appreciates a little assistance getting up to higher locations.

Cobweb gets along with dogs, cats, and children. His current foster has a 2 and 5 year old and although he can get a little hyper when they start getting rambunctious, he calms down when told to relax and lay down. He can definitely go to a family with children but would probably do best with slightly older children. Cobweb would thrive with a homebody who he could cuddle and relax with all day.
