Animal Profile: Harry was born outside on the Wapato Reservation. His 'owner' was not interested in feeding or keeping him or his littermates, and was threatening to let them starve. A rescue contact reached out for help as Mama and babies were left outside, exposed to the elements. We could not leave them to suffer, so they are all hitching a ride to the west side on Friday, 10/11.
Foster Update:
Meet Harry, a sweet and sensitive 10-week-old Doberman puppy! Though he can be a bit shy and cautious, Harry is incredibly cuddly and affectionate. True to his breed, he thrives in a nurturing environment where his gentle nature is understood and appreciated. Harry is the ultimate good boy in training and an all-around joy to be around. With his predictable potty schedule, he's as reliable as they come, making life with him a breeze. This playful pup loves a good game of tug and knows exactly when to stop thanks to his solid "drop" command. Harry’s also nailed "sit" and is steadily mastering his leash manners, proving every day that training is not only fun but also one of his favorite activities! His love of learning is fueled by his enthusiasm for treats and toys, making him a dream student. Harry is wonderfully well-behaved, never chewing anything he shouldn't—even his toys, which he enjoys without being destructive. He’s not one to get into trouble and already has a solid recall that makes time outside worry-free. All in all, Harry’s an amazing puppy who’s smart, eager to please, and just so much fun to have around! we are looking for a home with large breed dog experience and a securely fenced yard. Harry will do best with another canine companion in the home. Due to his size potential we are not considering apartments at this time.

Animal History: Taylor and her 9 puppies are being surrendered to Dog Gone Seattle from their owner in Eastern Wa. They arrive to foster care 10/11/24 and will be available for adoption once we confirm they are healthy and well.
