Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remy is currently searching for his new emotional support human! He struggles with anxiety and would absolutely love a home with someone who is retired or works from home. He needs to be with someone at most times to feel safe and secure. He is such a great young man with so much love to offer. Please read the description below from one of our volunteers to learn a little more about him.
Hi, I’m a volunteer at the shelter, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Remi—a dog who’s completely stolen my heart. Remi is the perfect mix of sweetness, smarts, and goofiness. He’s eager to please and wants so badly to find his person. While he can be a little cautious at first, once he knows you’re safe, he will shower you with so much love that you’ll wonder how you ever lived without him.
It took four visits for Remi to decide I was one of his people, but when he did, wow—he flailed all over me with excitement, climbed into my lap, covered me in kisses, and snuggled in close like we’d been best friends forever. Personal space? Forget it—Remi just wants to be as close to you as possible! He’s goofy, loving, and such a joy to be around.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and hilarious companion, Remi’s your guy. I can honestly say that whoever adopts him will be one lucky person or family. Come meet him—you won’t regret it!Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Our public hours are Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 4pm. Dog meets may be also scheduled on Sunday and Monday by appointment only. No appointment is needed to meet our cats during public hours.
Please note that appointments are highly recommended for dog meets due to limited staff availability, but we do accommodate walk-in visits whenever possible. Additionally, many of our dogs may be located off-site in foster homes and an appointment will be required to meet those pets. We do require a completed application prior to meeting pets in foster homes to preserve the valuable time of our foster families.

More about this shelter
PAWS finds new families for stray dogs and cats as well as owner surrendered pets. We also accept animals brought to us by concerned citizens and local animal control agencies and do our best to find them suitable homes. Our mission is to find homes and offer direct care for as many of these loveable pets as possible. PAWS attempts to prevent the birth of unwanted animals through education and spay/neuter programs.
PAWS of Grays Harbor is a strictly non-profit organization and we survive because of donations from our community. All of the animals we adopt out are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for fleas. Sometimes, the animals we rescue require additional veterinary care. Without your donations, none of this would be possible. Thank you for your support, we couldn’t do it without you.
